3-
4 stars for the design(graphic & technic), 1 star for the content (too much ad. 2p/3.) and one extra star because its free = 2 stars.
Great app
Thanks. Very good stuff!
Good Content; Bad, Bad App
Kinda like those chairs so many architects design that are gorgeous to look at, but impossibly uncomfortable to actually use. A truly difficult, slow, awkward reader. Apparently takes the PDF to be used for a print version, glacially downloads its excessive mass to your phone, and then ever so gradually renders so-so pages. Plain text versions of many articles are included, but there is no easy way to get from the PDF with images to the plain text. Bah. They need to optimize images for the device, lay em out alongside the plain text, and start over. As grateful as I want to be for good free content, and as appreciative as I am of how easy this app is for the publisher, its is unlikely to invite a large following.
Decent app
Didnt have quite the experience as other reviewer. I do agree the text only version could work better but overall, I think the app works well. No problems with images taking long to load or the quality of images or text.
Update please
I think the magazine is great but the reader is too difficult to use. If it was made more iPhone/iPad friendly it would be much better. An update with pinch to zoom and a better page viewing method would make this a five star app.
